ON THE FIRST CONVERSATION

Book a call. Not a pitch.

One conversation to get your questions answered. No script. No pitch.

30 minutes. No prep needed. No pitch — if it's not a fit, we'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.

Editorial black-and-white portrait of the founder, a Black man in his late 40s wearing a simple knit sweater, seated at the edge of a wooden library table — shot from slightly above at a 15-degree angle, looking just off-camera to the right, mid-thought rather than mid-pose. Morning light from a tall window on the left side of the frame. Background is softly out of focus: a bookshelf with well-thumbed hardbacks, a mug, a folded newspaper. Shot on 85mm at f/2, grain visible, no studio backdrop, no white cyclorama, no corporate headshot stiffness. Candid authorship, not LinkedIn.
MEET bob

Twenty years in the chair you're sitting in

bob started out in the youth development field, as a professional in 1996 — She's led outdoor adventures, statewide community center programs, nationwide trainings for equity oriented leadership and quality improvement. She was on the same hiring-and-firing treadmill, had the same triangulated meetings, the same Sunday-night dread you might recognize. For years she coached executives for free, over coffee: they walked away with cultural shifts, she walked away with an empty cup. Now she does it on purpose. She's playful, direct, and unusually good at helping leaders see the pattern they're stuck inside — then hand them the next small move.

  • Leading in youth development and nonprofits since 1996 — 20+ years in the room
  • Co-Creator of Shift Decks — facilitation and coaching tools
  • Designed the LEAD Method: leverage experience, authenticity, and drive
  • Trusted by executive teams across community based nonprofits, youth-serving organizations, outdoor recreation, and education systems.
  • Keynote speaker and emcee on leveraging experience, authenticity and drive (and quality improvement, attitude accountability, and intercultural relevancy and responsiveness.

"I almost didn't book. I'd been to three conferences that year and left each one with a tote bag and a headache. bob asked me one question in the first ten minutes that I'm still thining about."

Denia, Executive Director, Statewide Youth Alliance

THE CALENDAR

Pick a time. That's the whole ask.

Thirty minutes on a call with bob. No questionnaire, no intake form, no pitch at the end. You'll talk about what's actually stuck — the team, the meeting you keep avoiding, the next move you can't quite name. If it's not a fit, she'll tell you that, and point you somewhere better.

This call is built for leaders — the people who run the program AND carry the team.

All fields required.

Your name and email go to bob's calendar, not a list. No spam, no drip sequence — unsubscribe is never a thing you'll need.

ON THE FIRST CALL
"I came in braced for a pitch. Twenty minutes in I realized I was just talking to someone who actually got it — and I'd stopped watching the clock."

Almost a direct quote from most first calls AND first coaching sessions!

WHEN YOU'RE READY
