Book a call. Not a pitch.
One conversation to get your questions answered. No script. No pitch.
30 minutes. No prep needed. No pitch — if it's not a fit, we'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.
Twenty years in the chair you're sitting in
bob started out in the youth development field, as a professional in 1996 — She's led outdoor adventures, statewide community center programs, nationwide trainings for equity oriented leadership and quality improvement. She was on the same hiring-and-firing treadmill, had the same triangulated meetings, the same Sunday-night dread you might recognize. For years she coached executives for free, over coffee: they walked away with cultural shifts, she walked away with an empty cup. Now she does it on purpose. She's playful, direct, and unusually good at helping leaders see the pattern they're stuck inside — then hand them the next small move.
- Leading in youth development and nonprofits since 1996 — 20+ years in the room

- Designed the LEAD Method: leverage experience, authenticity, and drive
- Trusted by executive teams across community based nonprofits, youth-serving organizations, outdoor recreation, and education systems.
- Keynote speaker and emcee on leveraging experience, authenticity and drive (and quality improvement, attitude accountability, and intercultural relevancy and responsiveness.
"I almost didn't book. I'd been to three conferences that year and left each one with a tote bag and a headache. bob asked me one question in the first ten minutes that I'm still thining about."
Pick a time. That's the whole ask.
Thirty minutes on a call with bob. No questionnaire, no intake form, no pitch at the end. You'll talk about what's actually stuck — the team, the meeting you keep avoiding, the next move you can't quite name. If it's not a fit, she'll tell you that, and point you somewhere better.
This call is built for leaders — the people who run the program AND carry the team.
Booked.
A calendar invite is on its way to your inbox — check spam if it hasn't landed in five minutes. Jane will send one short prep note the day before.
Your name and email go to bob's calendar, not a list. No spam, no drip sequence — unsubscribe is never a thing you'll need.
The questions people ask right before the call
Is this going to be a sales call?
No. It's a conversation, and that's not a line. Jane will ask what's actually going on with your team, help you see the pattern clearly, and tell you honestly whether coaching is the next move or not. If it isn't, she'll say so — and send you toward what is. You'll leave with something either way.
How do I get my board or org to pay for this?
This comes up in almost every first call — you're not alone in it. Most orgs find the funding through professional development line items, existing training budgets, or grants specifically earmarked for leadership development. Jane has a short guide on how to make the case internally, and she'll walk you through it. The full resource lives at /resources.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready yet?
Then this is exactly the right call — no commitment to a program, no pressure to decide anything on the call. You can use the thirty minutes to think out loud with someone who's seen this pattern hundreds of times. Some people book the program afterward. Some book the program a year later. Both are fine.
Who is this actually for?
Executive directors and leadership teams running youth-serving nonprofits, education programs, and community agencies — folks carrying program and team at the same time. If you're a solo operator or working outside that world, this probably isn't the room for you, and /contact is the better door for those questions.
"I came in braced for a pitch. Twenty minutes in I realized I was just talking to someone who actually got it — and I'd stopped watching the clock."
Almost a direct quote from most first calls AND first coaching sessions!
The smallest next move is one conversation
Thirty minutes. Someone who gets it. No pitch waiting at the end of it.
